All drafting and processing are handled locally on your device, providing you with peace of mind and security.
If you choose to send a request to an AI provider, this is transmitted directly from your device using your own API key. Data Levee does not store or retain this information. Furthermore, the application does not feature automatic posting to external services like email, Slack, or Jira. All outputs are kept local unless you manually choose to copy or export them. We do not track your activity, collect telemetry related to your work content, or sell your data.
Information We Do Not Collect
Data Levee operates on a strict no-collection policy for personal user information. We do not require you to create an account, and therefore, we do not collect personal identifiers such as names or email addresses. Your work content, including drafts and prompts, is never accessed or stored by us.
The application functions primarily on your local device. Drafts, prompts, and generated outputs remain on your computer unless you intentionally send a request to an AI provider using your own API key. We do not collect telemetry related to your drafts or work content, nor do we track how you write or generate content. The only information that may be stored locally on your device are your user preferences, which help to improve usability. For licensing purposes, basic activation information may be used to validate a purchased license, but this does not include any of your work content.
How We Use Information (Functionality Only)
Data Levee is engineered to operate entirely on your local device, ensuring that we do not collect or process your work content for any of our purposes. Any limited technical information that might be used is solely for the necessary functionality of the application. This includes validating a purchased license to ensure you have access to the features you've paid for, or storing your user preferences locally on your device to enhance your experience.
Should you choose to send a prompt to an AI provider using your own API key, that request is transmitted directly from your device to the selected provider to generate a response. Data Levee does not store or retain the contents of these requests. Any data collected for licensing or essential functionality is used exclusively to operate the application and is never sold, shared, or utilized for advertising purposes.
No Sharing of User Information
We are committed to absolute privacy. Data Levee does not share any of your information with other companies or third parties. Your trust is our highest priority, and we maintain a strict policy of non-disclosure regarding user data. The information processed by Data Levee remains on your local device, and we do not engage in any practices that would involve sharing your personal or work-related content with any external entities.
